Wedding presents??

So, the wedding is next weekend. And, being the semper paratus couple we are, we're thinking just now about the wedding present. What do we give them?

Option 1 - Money
Boring, impersonal, but incredibly helpful. The couple is planning to move cross-country this summer, and are saving up for that move.

Option 2 - Registry
It's there for a reason, folks. Course there's not much on there because they've each had their own houses for a while. Plus, who really needs an $80 pitcher?

Option 3 - Creative
I'd love to get them something from Etsy or take my own pictures and make a "LOVE" collage (really, just a picture of each letter in a different space in a multi-picture frame - ala this) or a collage with their new last name (assuming she'll take his). But this is kind of risky, and could be difficult to pull off in 5 days.

What would you give??? What was your favorite wedding present?

My Favorite wedding gift was a four-photo frame signed by everyone at the wedding. The giver, took photos during the ceremony then passed the frame and a pen around during the reception and everyone wrote a nice little note. The giver then printed the four best photos on a nifty portable printer she had brought with her and we had a beautiful momento to enjoy that very day.(You could also give it a few days later) Have fun!

This is a tough question! Probably my favorite wedding gift was completely impractical but very loved Kate Spade rose bowl. Not only is it beautiful and something I never would have purchased for myself, but it was given to us by two of my very good, and very very practical friends. The type of friends that normally would have liked to have purchased something completely practical like towels or bed sheets. But because they knew how much I loved it, they went in together and purchased it for us.

On another note though, the money really came in handy as we paid for most of our wedding expenses on our own and we were so very grateful for those who did give us cash.

I don't know if that really helped you or not!

Happy Easter :)
